Title: Status : Pending

Hi  all...I am facing the similar problem and here its showing the status as "Pending". It shows the same message imediately after I schedule the job or report. How can I overcome this issue. Please help me regarding this.

Hi,

If the problem is that critical, you should log it with Cognos support.  I guess the lack of replies on here means that it's not a common problem that folks in the forum have encountered before.  Demanding or continually asking for replies will not change that, unfortunately.

My advice would be to create a full export deployment of your content store, then re-create the content store database and import the deployment to see if it fixes the problem.  Otherwise there's not much else I can suggest - sorry.

As I said at the beginning, you should log your #1 priority issues with the good folks at Cognos who are paid to help you sort out these kinds of wrinkles.

Thank u very much MFGF.. Can you please let me know how can I log this to cognos support. I am new to cognos and dont know much about this.

Hi,

If you go to the Cognos support page

http://support.cognos.com/en/support/index.html

You will find the relevant links or numbers on there.  To log a case via the website, use the 'Case Management' link on the left.  You will need to provide your Cognos support ID and password to get in.  Alternatively, use the 'Contact Support' link on the left to find the contact details of your local support center.
