Title: How to create Bookmarks in PDF File
Post by: okh310 on 13 Sep 2016 10:28:22 AM
I cannot seem to find an answer to this question....

Is there a way to create a multi page cognos report that outputs to a PDF file with Bookmarks shown on the left side of the page?  (See attachment).

I know I can create a table of contents that will display on the first page in the PDF file, but I really want to bookmark functionality that displays on the left side of the page.

Is this possible to do?

It's not possible, unfortunately.

I've seen discussions about Adobe in the past claiming it may be possible for Adobe to render the bookmarks if a TOC is available, but that's never worked. Neither have TOC + bookmarks.
