Title: Value Range settings in Combination Chart Visualization
Post by: Lynn on 07 Sep 2016 07:31:18 AM
Has anyone tried setting the value range on the combination chart visualization and gotten it to work? I've tried unchecking the "range includes zero" box but the axis still starts from zero. I've tried setting explicit minimum and maximum values but the axis remains unchanged.

The query in this case is only returning a handful of rows and I know there are no 0 values. I also know that the min/max values I selected are appropriate for the data coming back (e.g., no values above the max or below the min).

It feels like a bug in the viz but even though I have the viz customizer tool I lack the expertise to confirm this, let alone correct it.

The standard combination chart can do exactly what I want, but this is for an active report so I need to use a viz to keep the file size reasonable.

If anyone has a viz that works with the axis range settings or knows what I might be doing wrong I'd appreciate the assistance.

I posted this again in the Report Studio board and included a report spec using the GO Sales (query) package to illustrate the issue.
