Hi MHID,
What you're looking to do is fairly standard. Have a look at the different security options and what each of one does:
http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSRL5J_1.1.0/com.ibm.swg.ba.cognos.ug_cc.10.1.1.doc/c_asg_set_access_permission_entries.html#asg_set_access_permission_entries
You're interested in revoking Traverse and Read.
PS: The article indicates it's for Rational, but it's Cognos within Rational - ie: cognos. I just couldn't find the original BI article to reference :)
Thanks Mate :)
Document is informative but it doesn't full fill my requirement . by this i can't hide reports with user perspective . i need help . i have to do that task so i need help .

If a user has no privileges for a report, they won't see it at all. Make sure the user (and the groups/roles the user belongs to) don't have privileges granted. Jay alluded to this when he mentioned revoking Traverse and Read.
Cheers!

thanks to all .
