There are certain colors/color codes that I use throughout reporting. In Cognos 10, I was able to Add to Favorites without issue, making for very quick access when building reports.
In Cognos 11 Analytics, I Add to Favorites and save my report, but notice the favorite colors are lost from the Color Favorites as soon as I leave edit mode (to clarify, the colors remain in the report design, it's just I cannot see them in the Favorites anymore).
Is this a bug? Is there a fix or work around?

Hi,
If I add a favourite colour, I can toggle out of and back into edit mode for a report and still maintain the favourite (using the pencil button on the toolbar). If I close down the report (using the middle navigation point) then I lose my favourite, even if I re-open the same report.
It's worth logging this with IBM to see if it's intended behaviour or not.

Interesting... I cannot test it at the moment according to Cognos documentation: "Favorite colors are stored in cookies. As a result, favorite colors are shared across all Reporting users.".
Since they mention it's shared across reporting users, I would assume the cookie is valid for longer than the current session. Sounds like a bug to me.
