Is anyone using Heavy Weight Modeling Switch in Framework Manager for Improved Cube performance in Analysis Studio? I tried it today when publishing to our Dev environment and it worked well! However I am trying to workout the logistics of implementing this as a Solution for our Production environment and I am running into a couple of snags... One is that you need to republish everytime your cube is updated for the HWM switch to work... second is our FM is only pointing to dev, so I would have to export and import everytime to promote the cube from Dev to Pre-prod, to Production... and that seems like a lot of manual stuff to do to get this benefit.
Has anyone tried this setting and if so, how are you implementing it in your environment....
