I'm having problem about setting security for data level in Essbase Cube
In here We make a active report. We use Cognos 10.2.2 and Essbase cube as a data source. As we know, In cube there are members.
I have user A and user B. For example I have a month dimension which is have January, February as a members. And what I ask is how make user A can access all of the members in month dimension? but user B only can access January? Do you know how to make security in members of Cube?

Hi,
Unfortunately this is a challenge in Essbase rather than Cognos. Security within a cube is defined and stored within that cube - whatever the technology of the cube. We could advise you on how to define security within Cognos cubes - (PowerCubes, Dynamic Cubes, TM1 etc) but unless you happen to stumble across a Cognoise forum member with Essbase knowledge you're unlikely to find an answer here. Have you tried any of the Oracle forums to see if other Essbase users have done this before?
