Title: How to show Column Borders when outputting to Excel

I have a crosstab report with 7 columns. Col 2-4 are related, same as Col 5-7. I put a border in between column 4 and 5 as requested.
This report will be sent to users in a spreadsheet format via email. 
The border is not showing up in Excel. Is there a way to?
