Title: Several TOC in the same report
Post by: Sunchaser on 30 Jun 2016 06:55:46 AM
Hi All,

Do you know if it is possible to use more than one "Table of Content" object in the same report ?
I have pages organized in 3 page-sets, and I need to find a good way to get a TOC reflecting this structure.
Unfortunately, Cognos doesn't seem so happy if I try to use more than one "Table of Content".

Thanks,
Kind regards
V.

Could you elaborate on what's wrong with your TOC's?

It works fine for me. I just built a quick report with 3 page sets, each containing 3 pages and one TOC. Did you make sure each TOC Entry is referencing the correct TOC table? If not, select the entry, and select the appropriate table in the properties pane, under General->Table of Contents.

Hi,
Thanks for the answer.

Yes, this is exactly what I tried to do.
When I click in order to edit the value of the "Table of contents" - in the kind of value list editor - the arrow appears, as if a drop-down is going to be displayed in order to propose several values... but, nothing. I can't edit this property...
