Title: Value Prompt - no scrollbar option
Post by: busterbbg on 28 Jun 2016 09:36:13 AM
Hello - Using RS 10.2.2, I have a value prompt with 15 values. It will automatically show the first 7 values and has a scroll bar to see the rest. I only want to see the first 3 values and use a scroll bar for the rest. If I change the "rows per page" option to 3, it losses the scroll bar and it won't allow me to use the "Always use scrollbars" option in the Size & Overflow property. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Have you tried changing the size of the prompt box...if the height is smaller it might force the right number of rows.

BigChris, thanks for responding. Yes, forcing the size of the prompt box will work but I'm trying not to use specific values for height as this report will be used on multiple devices; pc, laptops, tablets, smartphones.  So I'm afraid if I specify the height of an object, it will not display properly on all devices.

Also, does anyone know where I can find out the default measurements for the different objects; e.g. Value prompts or the different sections of the report (header, body, footer)?
