I have created a multi query, multi page report using report studio 10.1.1 and it is my intention to send out to the relevant recipients using bursting, this is something I have done on many occasions before using one of my queries as the master and defining master / detail relationships after placing each list/graph within a list pointed to the master query.
However I have an issue with my latest report now that I have come to apply the bursting. For this report it needs to burst on a different data item depending upon the audience for the report,(this is something I haven't done before), so I wrote a query item called burst role (it is my intention that this is the label) which defines these conditions. The problem is whenever I put this data item in the burst options groups' field it clears out all the items within my query.
Has anybody experience anything like this before and have any advice on how to resolve?
Is what I am attempting even possibel where you change the burst item based on a prompt choice?

First of all my apologies for the lateness of this response, I have been away from the forum for a while and didn't see you question.
I was able to solve this issue.
The reason it kept clearing out the data items was the reports way of telling me some of logic I was using was incorrect. Now works and runs every month to 250 recipients
