Title: Security reporting
Post by: Seveman on 17 Jun 2016 07:13:39 AM
Hi,

I'm trying to create a report that'll tell me what users can access what reports. So far I've managed to get report path and so on from the Content Store database and also groups, roles and users, however, I can't find the way to link a report to the role that has permissions for it. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Servando

Servando,
This can easily be done through Avnet BSP Software's MetaManager.  In fact there are a few different modules that can help you achieve this.  Canned Reports will give you a full Account Security Audit of your environment including your Access Rights, so who has access to what objects in your environments.  You can also use Content Documenter to be more precise with the user(s) and attributes you want to document.  There you also have the option to choose Direct or Indirect access rights.  Direct being they have access to that object because their permissions are directly under that object or Indirect as a group or role in which that account is a member of has permissions to that object.

Please see the attached image.

Look into the c10AuditExtension:
