Title: Governor/Global settings - hidden fields
Post by: ry1633 on 02 Jun 2016 11:18:31 AM
This may well be an obtuse question, but I've ran into a small FM anomaly that I can't account for.   I have fields that I've hidden from users and I've check in my Business Layer that the attribute Is Hidden = True, and yet a few of them are still showing up in the package on the user's end?

Is there a Global/Governors setting I should look at that would affect this?   If it's just a case of me missing a few of them here and there I can live with that. :)   But if there's a setting that could be overriding it I'd like to know about it.

Sounds like you missed a few :)

An easy way to identify them is to go to publish a new package in FM. The data items (not folders) that are marked as hidden will not be visible in the publish package wizard. It will still be in the package, even though you don't see it.
