Recently We have upgraded our Java application to "Java 8 Update 71 (64-bit), and after the installation, we are having issues with the performance of the server and the application generating too many dump files (don't remember the JRE version we had before).
After reviewing the IBM support doc, the supported version for 10.2.1 is (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21651263 (http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21651263))
C 10.2.1 / C10.2.1.x (fix-pack 1 through nnn) - Server Run-Time Conformance :
IBM Java RunTime Environment 5.08, 6.08, 6.0.10.1 and 7.0 and future fix packs.
Sun Java SDK/JRE/JDK 6.0/1.6 Update 22 and future fix packs , through 6.0 Update 45 and future fix packs.
could anyone provide me the exact patch (url ?) that needs to be used for 10.2.1 Cognos ?

Hi,
IBM ships its own JRE with Cognos 10. Is there a reason you're not using this? Look in <install location>\bin64\jre and you should find it there...

I have checked the location "<install location>\bin64\jre" and there are many folders and files in them. Not sure what i need to check in that folder. Any specific file to check ? and how to config the system to use this folder.
