Hi,
I have a report Called "Payment Distribution". This Report contains prompts like Company(around 1700 Companies ), Payment Type (12 Payments).
The report fetches huge volume of records(round 200000) for certain Companies.So we decided to save the report output on the server using "run with options" option.
But when we try to run "using run with options" we are unable to see the values in Company Prompt it only shows "All" as the prompt contains static text. Payment Type shows all the values in the Prompt.
Can anyone tell why the Company Prompt is not showing all the other 1700 Values with in the Prompt.

Where in Cognos Analytics do you see a "Run with options" dialog? That sounds more like Cognos 10? What version are you using?
I have to ask... You're attempting to deliver a prompt with a choice of 1700 values to choose from? Isn't there a better way to design things that this? Having to scroll through a list of 1700 options sounds like an ugly task, even for the most hardened of users. Can you look at perhaps setting up some form of cascade so that the choices can be narrowed down more easily? Are you trying to solve a problem here that is in itself an untenable solution?

Ok - I have moved the post to the Cognos 10 Report Studio board.
Is there any chance that the Rows Per Page value has been set to something lower than 1700 for the prompt box?
