Title: Cognos error

Hi all,

I seem to be locked out of my Framework Manager this morning with this error.

QE-DEF-0510 Cannot create directory: '..\bin\../data/cqe/RTModels'

I've digging and the only lock files in my Cognos/configuration folder are called jCAKeystore.lock and jEncKeystore.lock

Was working with my Cognos admin and we were both mystified.       I finally just did a cold boot of my machine and shut everything down.   Life is good now - the mystery lock that I couldn't find in the first place isn't there any more

Hi,

Did you look in C:\Program Files\IBM\cognos\c10_64\data\cqe\RTModels to see what's in there? Is it possible it's a disk space issue? How full is the disk?

It was weird because the error was happening in Cognos in my virtual machine environment but not on my desktop and so I couldn't find any of those lock files or anything.    Reset and rebooted my virtual machine completely from scratch and it was fine.   Weird because none of the fixes that I found online worked or were applicable.  Highly strange - even had my Cognos admin stumped!
