Title: Team Content Security
Post by: bi4business on 19 Mar 2016 12:49:33 PM
Hi All,

We are almost going into production with Cognos Analytics.
There's one big question I can't 'control' and we can't find any documentation about this.

How is the new security inside Analytics setup?

We have 2 departments and the are now allowed to access other content.
In C10 we created in [Public Folder] 2 filders ([Department A] & [Department B]) and we were able to set security on this folder.
That's how we control how (persons / groups) can access the folder.

In Analytics, we are looking how we do the same, but we don't know how.
In Analytics IBM is going for Team Content, and that's good I think, but still, how can we put the right security?

Does I mis some manuals? Right now all the manuals are more based on the 'old' C8/C10 security.

Any help would be nice.

Hi,

After playing some more with the options, I found how to do this in Analytics.
I just needed to create within the Team Content a new folder structure and set the right security on that.
I was more looking how to create Team name in the root, not in Team Content, that's where I was going wrong.

After all, simple, but that's alway when you has the right knowledge  ;D
