Hi Gurus,

I have a date item in the package - product date -- its a timestamp. I have created data items Quarter, Month and week by using the Extract Function. I would like to know how can i use these created data items Quarter>>Month>>Week as cascading prompts to filter the data.

You can just assign them to prompts and define the prompts as cascading. Not sure what the problem is. Having said that, these items belong in a proper time dimension in your DWH, not calculated on the fly whenever a report is executed.
