I have a list report with 2 subtotals. I would like to do a % to total for each level. The first subtotal should be the percentage of the detail lines and the second subtotal a percentage of the grand total.
I saw this post http://www.cognoise.com/community/index.php?topic=20330.0 and wondered if I really needed to do individual calculation for each level to achieve what I want.
Here's an example output I'm trying to achieve:
Column 1 | Column 2 | Column 3 | Fact | % |
Home | Pillow | Down | 75 | 33% |
| | Poly | 150 | 67% |
| Total Pillow | | 225 | 69% |
| Bed | King | 23 | 23% |
| | Queen | 64 | 63% |
| | Twin | 15 | 15% |
| Total Bed | | 102 | 31% |
Total Home | | | 327 | 40% |
Total China | ... | ... | 500 | 60% |
Grand Total | ... | ... | 827 | 100% |
Thank you
I ended creating individual calculations for each level to achieve the correct % to Total

Nope - that wasn't Patrick. The thread you are linking to didn't feature him at all.
