We have a live and test database structure and can choose which to use when we login to Cognos. I've recently come across an issues where scheduled reports will change and run against the test database (which they should not be doing). As far as our framework setup goes, we have the datasource set to a 'placeholder' db that allows the user to choose which DB they wish to use when they login, so a DB is not hard coded in the FM.
My question is, is there a way to tell which data source a scheduled cognos report will run against? Is there a way to change it if it's wrong or even 'hardcode' a specific datasource in a report? Thanks.
