Title: How to get an aggregate view on the provided schema in FM
Post by: EarthDog on 20 Nov 2015 11:11:25 AM
Please take a a schema:

I want to create a view in presentation layer and i cant figure out how to do it.

I need to have ONE line per F41021, and i need to get two sums from F4102 and F4311...

the keys that are in the relationships are the green fileds. I need the sum of the yellows.

If i just make a new query subject and put the fields i need inside i get duplicate lines.

I tried many things with determinants but he doesn't want to to make a sum from these tables on the final query subject.

I would appreciate any help in understanding how to approach this.

Were you intending to attach images or something to your messages? I do not see them, but then it is Monday morning for me and perhaps the caffeine has not quite reached my brain.   :-\

Oh I see... sorry, my employer's web filter is blocking access to the site with the images. Why - who knows? Ugh.

I will try to look later from home or somewhere I am not filtered.
