i can open report from cognos 10 portal but in the right upper corner selection for open report with excel,pdf,xml...then disappeared completely..please see from attachments.
IE verion is 11.
please any idea?
It might be that this is a saved Cognos Report. If this is saved output, the different exporting options will not show up as it is set to the type of output that it was saved as. You will need to re-run the report completely for that option to re-appear.

i dont save any report, this problem with all 80 report what i have...
Try/Confirm the following settings on your IE...
Internet Explorer Settings to Open Cognos Report in Excel:
In Internet Explorer:
Tools > Options > Security > Click on Internet Icon:
Click on Custom Level button.
Ensure that 'Automatic prompting for file downloads' and 'File download' are enabled.
Repeat steps for 'Intranet' and 'Trusted Sites' Icons.
If you get prompted by a message to accept the changes – Confirm.
I believe this is because it is not directly opening Excel, but rather "Excel in the Browser".

Also, IE11 should be in "compatability mode" for Cognos. (Click the gear icon in the upper right, and in the pop up window click the "Add" button, then click "Close" and refresh or logout/login).
