I am migrating Cognos 7 dimensional report on cube and looking for solution for:
1. to display Current Month as default value
2. with option of selecting 'All' also
3. and in prompt display like Cognos 7 Upfront all other relative time categories like WTD, MTD, YTD, PYTD etc. in same prompt
Is this possible via Cognos 10.2.1 functionality or JavaScript needs to be applied for dimensional cube based report?
4. Prompt Values takes time to display output everytime prompt is selected. Is this because of many prompts set in detailed filter.
When I used member from relative Time category for Current Month to set default selection as Current Month, it works but to go back to Select All from prompt is not working.
How do we replicate Cognos 7 upfront reports where performance was better compared to same report in Cognos 10.2.1 Report Studio.

Yes it can be done. You can create static choices in the prompt for wtd,ytd etc and in the use value, use the MUN.
The performance is slow because you used the detail filter. It's a cube so use the prompt macro in the report data item.
