I have a HTML item in a report that calls javascript to view a document image in our document library. The HTML link works fine when I run it in Report Studio but when I set it to run in the background as HTML and email as an attachment I have a problem. I can see the hyperlink is there but when I click on it I get the IE "error" at the bottom left hand side of the screen.
If I set it to email as an attachment the user has to log in to BI to view the report but we don't want a recipient to have to log into BI.
Is it possible to do what we want to do? Any help much appreciated.
Apologies for a very vague response...I seem to remember coming across this sort of thing before, but it's been a while and I can't for the life of me remember the details. Have you checked things like pop up blockers and compatability settings?
