Hi All,

Quick question regarding ex/import of Content store in Cognos 10.2.0

If I create a full export of the Content Store from environment A, and import it to Environment B (Both secured against the same namespace) What will the effect be?

I am hoping to move all folders, reports etc, as well as users, groups, permissions etc etc. Will this overwrite or append what was already on Environment B?

Any guidance greatly appreciated

I think if it is full content backup it will overwrite contents.
Coz as far as i can remember importing selected contents only has the options for Conflict resolution.
That is either Keep existing or replace existing entries for directory contents.
