Hi,
We are upgrading to Cognos 10.2.1 (from Cognos 8 ) and using Transformer instead of Powerplay. All models have been updated and cubes refreshed successfully in our new environment. We are going live in a month and our administrators have been locking down servers for the VA assessment. When we locked down one of our Cognos servers, we now get the following error in Transformer when we try to open a model:
Error TR1007 An error occurred while a password was being decrypted
I have found one article that references this error on IBM's website which then tells us to looks into WIN32 errors. It is very detailed, confusing and references Powerplay 5 (which we are not using) so I am hesitant to move forward.
Has anyone encountered this error before or does anyone have any advice on how to resolve this error?
