Title: Aggregation Method - Aggregate
Post by: cognos05 on 20 Oct 2015 09:39:58 AM
Hi,

I am calculating penetration and my calculated Measure has calculation as Sales /Constant

so now,

Rows and Columns calulate properly the percentage, the summary added under the rows for accounts, was totalling the percentages since its aggregate method was set to Total,

I wanted this to total the over all accounts and then divide by constant, so I gave aggregate Method as aggregate and it worked.

Can anyone explain what does Aggregate  does?

Thanks,
Nithya

I still need what does Aggregate does ?  I tried changing the Solve order, but  it dint work, changing the aggregation property to total worked.

Please explain me what aggregate property will do, for instance total will total the values., Average will do the average of all values.

Thanks,
