I'm working with cognos 10, and I need to add a portlet to all users.
I've figured out how to manage portal tabs by user, but I can't seem to figure out how to manage the tabs by groups. Is that possible? And if so how?

To resume, what you're looking for is not standard Cognos functionality.

Indeed you can (I had to look this up).
The documentation is in Chapter 25 Managing User Profiles of the Admin and Security Guide. I'm attaching a screenshot of the relevant Admin screen.
