Hi,

Sadly, it's a little like asking "Which is the best brand of cornflakes"? Different people will have different experiences and preferences, and often it's entirely subjective. Trying to be objective, I can tell you that they are both supported web servers, and that you can use cgi or native libraries with each (isapi with IIS and apache-mod with IBM HTTP Server). Neither seem to be particularly easy to configure. Both are widely used and tried-and-tested. Me? I use IIS - but only because I started using IIS years ago and never really saw a good reason to switch.

If you're using single-signon and you have MS Windows clients, then perhaps SSO is a little easier to set up in IIS? Don't quote me on that, though - because I haven't done it :)

So - short and sweet. There really is no "best". Use whichever one suits your needs most easily. :)

MF.
