Title: Report in HTML-view: page down - blank page
Post by: Deep750 on 31 Aug 2015 05:52:07 AM
Hi,
I have created a report that can consist of quite many pages, based on prompt selection.
I have used a page set (grouped on data item Building) so that each building comes on a new page.

If the report output is more than 22 pages, the following pages, in HTML, are white. Meaning the first 22 pages work as intended, but if I do a page down from page 22, the report goes blank/white. After that nothing works, so I have to return to Connection, and rerun the report, and the same issue will occur on the same page. If I open the report in PDF, all pages are returned as expected.

How can i overcome this issue, as the preffered view is in HTML.

It seems to be a bug in 10.2.1 FP4, when modifying classes in Report Studio...I don't have access to another environment with the same FP. Can anyone with the same version please confirm that they experience the same? I have checked another environment with FP8, and changing classes does not affect the "page down" after page 23

Hi Deep750,

I am facing a similar issue (blank page) as we are using cognos 10.2.1.
We are using page sets and render variables to render the pages based on prompt selections. Please refer to the post 'how to conditionally execute javascript' for details.

Let me know if you got your issue resolved and if so how. I am looking for various ways either javascript or other ways to eliminate the blank page.

Regards,
mlodugu1

mlodugu1, as I wrote in a previous post, it was a bug in FP4, when global classes had been edited.
We installed FP9, and it hasn't been a issue since
