This might be a very noddy type question, but it's bugging me and I can't spot an obvious answer. I've got a list report with a text field and various measures. When I group on my text field, I expect the list to produce a group footer for that field...but it doesn't. Then when I add a summary for the measures I only get the overall summary at the bottom of the list...not for each group.
It isn't universal - most of the time it works as I'd expect. Is there something that needs to be set, possibly in FM, for the field to work properly?

A relational source, right? That sounds really flaky to me. Are there particular text fields where it occurs consistently? When it happens, you should be able to go into the list headers and footers (from structure menu or on toolbar) and then add the desired footer. Dragging in the measures to this footer should give you the correct result even though it is annoying to not have it done automatically.
What is the Source Type of the field you are grouping on, Chris?

I've been getting round it in exactly the way you describe Lynn, so it's not critical by any stretch. I'd like to fix it more for the users that might not be able to do that though.
I can't point to a specific list of fields that it happens for...I only notice it occasionally so I don't think it's happening a lot. The model for the data that I've been using this morning looks something like this
[Sales Order Line] 1:n -- 1:1 [Warehouse]
I'm grouping on the Warehouse description from the warehouse table, and calculating some measure from the Sales Order Line table.
If yu can think of anything obvious for me to check give me a nudge...but don't spend any time on it. It's annoying rather than a major problem, and I thought I'd ask the question this time rather than just getting round it.
