Title: Prompt on the fields to be displayed in the report

Hi,

I have a requirement to have a prompt which would allow the user to select the FIELDS which he requires to get displayed in the report. Can i do that using Cognos 8.0??

ie, the user should see a list of query items so that he could choose the ones which he wants to see in the report.

please let me know if u have any ideas...

In short, you can do that with conditional blocks or conditional formatting.
But depending on what data you have, it may become very complex.
