Hi All,
We are planning for a upgrade from Cognos 10.2.1 to 10.2.2. After installation should I also install the latest fix pack for this version on top of it.
what would be steps?
Install 10.2.2
Configure and get it working
then install FP002?
Anythoughts? I would really appreciate any comments and suggestions.

Yes, those would be the correct steps. You can also apply the fix packs before you configure it. Remember to apply both 64-bit and 32-bit fix packs and select appropriate
installation folders when applying the fix packs. If your 10.2.2 install is only 32-bit then you don't need to worry about the 64-bit pack.
is FP0002 cumulative?
Yes , it includes all fix packs released till then.

I'm about to apply the latest fix pack to my 10.2.1 environment. I'm looking on the IBM site, but I can't find where it says to install both the 64 and 32-bit packs? I only have a c10_64 installation directory.

You can apply 32 bit fixpack to FM installation.

Hi. I'm looking at the IBM website and I'm not seeing any download specific to the Framework Manager or articles about updating that separately. Unless it's called something different in documentation. I'm very new to this.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you wills ee two options '
Cognos BI Server 32-Bit and Cognos BI Server 64-Bit.
The 32-bit is to be applied to the folder where FM is installed.
I do see the different versions of the fix packs, however I didn't see anything about applying the fix packs more than once in documentation anywhere.
After some research however and seeing that some of the applications in the Cognos "solution" are indeed 32-bit (FM for instance), I went ahead and tired applying the fix pack on my staging environment for those applications. It went well and the cmplst files in the separate application directories are now reflecting the latest version.
