Can we create a regular dimension in Framework Manager, where a level in the hierarchy has multiple children, without creating multiple hierarchies in a dimension. Something like:
Level1
Level 2
Level 3 Level 4

No, the UI representation of that hierarchy (actually hierarchies; more anon) can't be done in FM. Each hiearchy needs its own set of levels.
No, the Transformer concept of divergent and convergent levels doesn't exist per se in FM.
Yes in the sense that what you have modeled is actually two hierarchies which just happen to have two levels which are identical. You can copy levels from one hierarchy to another by drag and dropping them. They get created as independent entities so if you want to modify them independently you can but if you need to modify them you need to modify all of them.
It will also mean that if you migrate a FM model to Dynamic cubes and have this you'll end up with levels called copy of ... and copy of ... 2 until the crack of doom, depending on how much use you may have made the technique. Cube Designer has the concept of a level pool which enables you to reuse levels and to only need to modify the level in one place (although you need to be very careful about ensuring that the keys for the level are appropriate for each of the contexts that it is in).
