Title: How to copy report xml?

Hi Folks,

Is there any way to copy report XML without opening report studio.I would like copy report xml and keep it some other place.So could you please help me in capturing report XML without opeing it? Such as from Content manger and or any script?

Do you have access to Report Studio?

Hi techie,

There are few users who don't have access to reportstudio but they should capture XML.even if we give access without opening reportstudio is there any way to capture XML.

for me the only way is to send report on email adress.

You can also copy the XML to the clipboard inside Workspace Advanced.

If they don't have WSA or RS access, why would they want/need to capture the report XML? It is mostly useless without access to one of those.

Can you explain the reasoning behind this requirement? If a user doesn't have access to Report Studio, what possible use is an XML report specification to them?
