using Report Studio Cognos BI 10.2.1 fixpack 6.
I would like to create a chart and on graph line every day must be displayed, but on X-AXIS LABELS I would like to reduce the number of members, because there are two many members displayed and it looks ugly. The best would be if possible to have only first day in month displayed as a x-axis label, but I need it to be displayed with 90 degree rotation.
P.S. I know I can set Label Control to Manual and set Display Frequency to like 10 or higher, but then I lose control of "Allow 90 degree Rotation".

Hi,
I don't kow how to reduce, but you can improve visibility by using substring function, which allows you to reduce what you want to show : it looks like dates, you can, for example, show only the day and the month.

ps : I know it's possible when axis is in number, by clinking on the chart x axis and change "axis range"
