I have a cognos report studio report which is having page break on name. So suppose there are 50 names ..when we run the report we will have 50 different pages.
Now in each page i want to have a value prompt on name data item ..and once user click on any name ...the report will take to that page ..
is it feasible??

Why would you do it like that?
Just have a single prompt page for the name.
Create a data container (list or whatever) with a filter on the name in the query.
They can just click the rerun button up on the toolbar to get a different name.
To add to what bdbits suggests, you can have the prompt sitting on top of the page itself too, with an auto-submit on it.
Our case is not exactly the same but it reminds me of something. We could not open any application any more with contributor whereas it was working like a charm until then.
I found that the antivirus software somehow had changed its behaviour.Even when I tried to disable it, it was not enough the security scan still occured.
So I found that now we have to explicitly exclude any scan for the contributor.exe in the internet protocol (ESET endpoint antivirus).
Hope it helps you...or other who might end on this topic since symptoms are similars.
