Hi all,
I want to customize the column in dimensional package. I have an attribute work_purpose belongs to workEff level in work hierarchy. work_purpose contain values like RF_FEATURE, RF_RETAIN,RF_SUPPORT, RF_BUG. Now I really want to customize like RF_FEATURE AS FEATURE, RF_RETAIN AS RETAIN etc. This is possible in relational package. Is any option available to do in dimensional package? Yes means how to do that?

Note: Creating report in cross table in Report studio 10.2.

This sounds like more of a modeling question. Should these attributes maybe be part of a dimensional hierarchy? Or perhaps even dimensions themselves? Have you discussed this with a modeler?

There are a few limited places to put additional information on a dimension member in the model, but you should give it a lot of thought before you go down that road. It may be a lot more appropriate to create a level(s) or dimension(s).
