Hi everyone

Can you please tell me if it is possible in Cognos to see (and edit) the list of folders a specific user / group has access to?

Hi,

Sadly this isn't something the Cognos UI allows easily. You can see a user's capabilities, and the groups and roles they belong to, but it's not easy to see in one place what folders a user has access to.

Our hosts BSP/Avnet have a nice tool that makes this an easy task, though. You can see details of it here:

Thanks, I will look into this tools, as manually clicking every folder in the repository to see who has access seems a bit unreasonable.
