Title: Reconcile Error
Post by: zeppomp3 on 21 Aug 2007 05:18:19 AM
I have this error in the reconcile:

Error [Error executing J expression : 'ACE2_rc ACE2_xids ' =: 153 TransferData_IModelImportBlockEdit_ ''] at line [       401] of source file [Y:\win32\src\ep\JCE\ACE2_73\Environment.cpp] last modified on [Tue Mar 21 21:47:24 2006]

I can´t run GTP anymore until this reconcile finish. What I do to solve it? Thanks.

Is DEP (Data Execution Prevention) turned off?  (set to essential Windows services and programs only).  That sometimes throws environment.cpp errors.  (You can google on how to turn off DEP)

Yes, it's turned off.

the problem is the cube to reconcile has 9,5 Millions of cells and I'm importing a lot of datas.

My question is: How can i run GTP again wihtout the before GTP try reconcile?

You cannot run a new gtp until reconcile finishes.

Restore from backup.

If you don't have a backup you can manually delete broken elist items (marked by 1 in recprog column flag in nodestate table) and loose those elements data but the application will be working.

See if your application is too big, such errors usually appear when the application is too big and there are no cut-down + no-data tricks. Wrote this post just to see that your cube is really big. Is it 9,5 mln per elist slice?

i've marked to 1 the recprog column in nodestate table and i've marked to 0 the column importpendingflag in nodestate table.
this, let me run other gtp and solve my problem.

Thanks.

Ok, but it's not a really 100% proven solution, manually changing recproc flags ;)
I guess elist xml's are timestamped at reconcile so you can achieve elist items with different timestamps and future gtp's won't pass this sanity check.

Big Applications, with more than  500.000 cells per elist item, need high amount of RAM on Job Servers an take a lot off time to Reconcile.

Big Applications run slowly on Contributor Clients.

I suggest to break your application in small pieces.

9,5 million per elist item is too much.

Hello all...

I have this problem too. I use Cognos 8.1 planning and I cant do the GTP because I need to "Reconcile the elist item". I try to do all my knowlege let me do and I'm still on the same place.

When I start GTP the pop up tell me I need to Reconcile the eList item. Press YES if you want star now the process. I press YES and the proccess is canceled. I don't know why.

The Job Managment still mark with a red line. Like "GTP Still working".

I execute the "reconcile job app" from the instalation cognos folder for the eList item. But the app doesn't find the error on the item.

Please any help??

Thanks a lot.
