Hello All,
I am using Cognos 10.2.1 Workspace. I have a report which acts as the source for all the widget elements(Charts/Crosstabs etc) in a workspace. Everytime I save this report for any change related/Unrelated, the workspace ends up with a small notification info icon on top right of all the widgets stating there is a new version available. To make it go away, I have to click on Get new version and then readjust each widget and save the workspace.
Is there anyway to disable this new version notification? Please see the attached image to further clarify my issue.

Hi,
It's doing exactly what IBM intended - ie whenever you change the underlying report, the widgets in your workspace based on that report will know that they are older than the report they were copied from, so will display the notification.
