Title: Possible to write Reject Records to a table?
Post by: goodknight on 15 Aug 2007 01:19:06 PM
Another data manager question, but I noticed you can write the reject records from a fact/dimension build into a text document.  I don't see any means to write them to a table instead.  Is this possible?

Thanks.

Hi,

This is one of hte new features added for the 8.2 release of Data Manager.  If you're on an earlier release, then you can (sort of) emulate this by accepting unmatched identifiers instead of rejecting them to the text file, then filtering them on output to a separate relational table delivery in the fact build.

Regards,

MF.
