Post by: BiliBoy on 17 Mar 2015 01:38:22 PM
Hello Experts

I want to learn dimensional model report writing, how can I start? I am really good with relational reporting and frame work manager. where I work we do not use dimensional  report so basically I have to learn from scratch. Any suggestion?

Hi,

Install IBM Sample dimensional cube, in Transformer and you can use that package to practise dimensional functions.

I have attached the ibm's dimensional function samples which you can refer to see how things work.

Thanks,

It's also worth attending the dimensional reporting training offered by IBM too. If memory serves, it's a 2-day course you can attend in a classroom or as self-paced virtual training.
