We currently are running cognos 8.4.1 on a single server setup and have outgrown this for some time.
The new test environment will be a single server setup and the production environment will be a multi server setup for maximun performance and get the most of out of the cognos modules available in 10.2.2
Just looking for some information and or documenst which would outline the minimun server requirements for a setup as outlined above
any information on server requirements and a possible outline to insatll and configure cognos components would be great.

I think your best bet is to drop a line to your IBM account manager and have him/her bring in an IBM tech sales person to undertake a server sizing exercise with you. Because it's the tech sales team it's often not a chargeable exercise. They have a specific server sizing document which they can use - they ask you for some info about numbers of users/reports/complexity etc, and come up with a recommendation for CPU and memory which is specific to your setup. It's honestly the best and safest way to get an accurate idea of what resources you're going to need.
