Hi Cognos Experts,
I'm facing intermittent issue with the Cognos 10.2.1. It works fine but sometimes when we try to select query studio and then a package it keeps spinning ( it won't show up the query reporting page)
Eeverything works fine after restarting the server. But the issue happens all the time.
I've increased the queue timeout limit and java heap size but nothing helped. Even running a package in CQM mode creates a issue.
Can someone please share the toughts how to captures the detail logs to see what's going on with the environment
Below is the error message which i get the during the issue, but the error does not say what is causing the issue

Spoke with DBA"S to see if content store is an issue but they say everything looks good with Database.

How much temp disk space is available on the Cognos application server?

Is this in an environment that was working and started failing without any changes? Do you have more than one server? Is it possible you have multiple content managers active?
Is that error from the cognos server log? I would look back through the entries preceding the error, sometimes that gives a clue to the root cause.

after doing enough research, it turned out to be Cognos 10.2.1 issue, after upgrading to patch 2 issue got fixed.
Basically it was a bug.
