Hi All

I use Sun Directory Server to connect with 7.1 Access Manager. Now, I installed Cognos 8 along with 7.4 Tramsformer and PPES. I exported LAE from 7.1 and imported into 7.4, within Cognos 8 Configuration, I added S7 as Series 7 namespace, and imported

But I am not able to set permission to manager entries in C8 Connection. I looked into the installation guide as saying " you cannot use a Cognos Series 7 Local Authentication Export (LAE) file for authentication with Cognos 8 components. "

Now, I am kind of lost, how can I keep using the existing user groups and users, and implement them into Cognos 8?

You have to be logged into both namespaces at the same time.
