Hi Friends,
I have a report with is has a custome prompt page designed and many prompts are there on that page.
When I select all the required prompts and select finish button the report prompts me again for some of the prompts that I have not select on the main prompt page.
I want the report to exercute the report once I hit the finish button. can anyone help me in resolving this issue.

Make sure the filters that use those prompt values are set to optional.
you have created prompt in report page after that you have created in prompt page that is the reason of showing double prompting

I made all the filters optional but I am still getting the same issue.
There is another thing I noticed on the report is, when I exercute the report first the report runs without re-prompting but the second time i re-exercute it. I add the new prompt it then re-prompt .
The first time I put the query was when I was trying to schedule the report and I was putting the overwrite parameter it re-prompted me.
Badly stuck with the issue.

Do you have any prompt values with data items?
It actually sounds like you're getting a local browser cache issue which remembers the value of some of the prompts.
Try running the report from cognos connection rather than report studio, this should prevent that issue.
