Title: Documenting Cognos meta-data & report specifications
Post by: zerointeractive on 31 Jul 2007 04:03:16 AM
Hi everybody,

someone knows if there's a tool to easily produce report meta-data specifications?

I need to produce documentation for my cognos environment such as Framework manager projects and ReportStudio reports (promptpages, filters, list columns...).

I've found a tool named DocuVisn (http://www.envisn.com/docuvisn.asp)  that seems to be a valid documentation tool but there's not a demo nor a valid pdf to look at.  Anybody is using it? It is good?

Help me, please!

Bye,

Have a look at MetaManager, which is a Powered by Cognos solution.  In addition to documenting FM models and content store to HTML, PDF, XLS and TXT, it does a tremendous number of other things to automate and help administer your environment.

Take a look at http://www.bspsoftware.com/products/ (http://www.bspsoftware.com/products/) where you can see some of the product features and view an online product demonstration.  In addition, if you send an e-mail to contact@bspsoftware.com, you can set up a live product demo.
