I assigned Consumer Role to those who want to execute the reports. They all can see Reports folder but within Reports, I have Scheduled Reports folder and they are not able to see it. Please suggest. They want to see the Schedule Reports folder also.

What permissions are defined for the Scheduled Reports folder?
MF.
Hi MF,
The same consumer role is assigned to Scheduled Reports that is assigned to Reports folder.

That isn't what I asked - what permissions are defined for the scheduled reports folder?
MF.
Sorry, I guess I did not understand the question.
Its Read, Write and Traverse. 3 permissions are granted.

For which users/groups/roles? All of them? Some different from others?
Do you really mean Read, Write and Traverse or do you mean Read, Execute and Traverse?
MF.
We have two groups : Consumers and Authors
So, the Consumers group need to see the reports. They have got read, execute and traverse permissions.
Let me know if I am missing any information.

Ok - so your users belong to the Consumers role, and the Consumers role has Read, Execute and Traverse permissions granted to it in the properties of the Scheduled Reports folder? Correct?
What permissions does this role have in the Reports folder? The same?
If you navigate into the Scheduled Reports folder and go into the properties of one of the reports, what permissions does the Consumers role have to that specific report?
MF.
Unfortunately, its same for Reports and Schedule Report folders.
That's why I am confused.

Can you answer the above?
HI MF,
For below,
If you navigate into the Scheduled Reports folder and go into the properties of one of the reports, what permissions does the Consumers role have to that specific report?
I checked few of the reports, I see same permissions Read, Execute and Traverse for the users who are expected to see the reports.

Ok - something else is going on here. Are there any groups or roles that have privileges denied? If so, is it possible the users belong to these groups and roles also?
MF.
:(
It was strange. I just checked. The user who is not able to see the reports belong to different group.......... :(
My bad....
Thanks MF....
I added him to the right group......

Well, that explains it :) It's nice when it's something simple that can be fixed easily :)
MF.
