Title: Copying cpf file from one machine to another
Post by: rubesh on 23 Jan 2015 07:33:03 AM
Hai Team.,
Currently am using framework manager 10.2 and i have created packages in it. But my colleague uses 10.2.1 currently and he published a package. Am in need to access the package in my local machine.. I tried to open the particular cpf but am unable to open the package.

Note : I copied full folder and pasted as it is in the remote machine (including model.xml file).

Can any one help me to resolve from this.. Please..

Thank you in advance..

You need to have the same version of Framework Manager as your colleague. You cannot open his 10.2.1 model in your 10.2 instance of Framework Manager.

However, he should be able to open a 10.2 Framework Manager Model.

Yes - definitely. When he does, it will upgrade to his 10.2.1 spec, though, so if he saves it and sends it back, you will be unable to open the version he saved in your 10.2 version.
